Filter performance and stability improvements (#42357)‍

Filters in specific pages (Projects, Brand-Maps and Artworks, Master Documents), across the product now load and respond more smoothly, with cleaner internal handling while keeping all existing filtering options unchanged.

Fonts filtering (#41745)

The Fonts page now allows the user to filter the table by every column - including font name, creation date, and formatting style, making it easier to quickly find relevant font families and styles. This update brings the filtering experience in line with other product views and ensures consistent behaviour across all items.

Master Documents

• #43790: Fixed an issue where very long text in content elements sometimes failed to save. Content with more characters now saves reliably without unexpected issues.
• #40693: Resolved an issue where the comment counter did not refresh correctly after switching a content element to another version.
• #37576: Resolved an issue where comment indicators disappeared after approving or unapproving translations. Comment counts now display correctly and no longer depend on approval status.
• #40693: Fixed an issue where switching versions of a content element caused translations to appear empty. Translations now load the correct version every time.
• #41420: Fixed an issue where the "+" button to add translation appeared for mandatory content elements that were not yet assigned. The button is now hidden for empty elements, ensuring correct workflow behaviour.
• #42381: Resolved a problem where the text editor occasionally stopped accepting input. It now functions normally, allowing the user to continue typing without interruption.

Repository

• #43960: Fixed an issue where translations could not be expanded when they contained more than one version. Users can now open and view all translation versions without errors.

Roles Management

• #38120: Fixed a permissions issue where removing access to the Documents API caused role loading to fail across all products. Roles now load correctly even when certain permissions are restricted, ensuring consistent access and visibility.

Role-based checklists (#43778)

We fixed the issue with checklists state not being saved in certain circumstances.

RTL/LTR (text direction) support in text variables (#42700)

Users can now set text direction for text variables-right-to-left or left-to-right - in both Artwork Management and the ArtworkOnline Editor. These variables display correctly on the canvas and are fully supported in generated PDFs, ensuring consistent multilingual output across the entire workflow.

The following changes are targeted to the next generation of our automated artwork solution.

New Fonts Management page(#41743)

A new Fonts page is now available in Content Management, giving users a centralised place to review font families and styles. The page supports creating and uploading new fonts, downloading existing ones, and removing unused entries to keep typography assets organised.

Fonts reorder (#41744)

The Fonts page now includes support for reordering font styles. Users can drag styles to adjust their order within a family or move them between different families, making typographic structures easier to manage and maintain.

Improvements to Artwork Management (#38423)

Inline editing on the Artworks Management page has been refined for a smoother experience. Date values now display correctly, and filtering by date works consistently with the behaviour already available on the Brand-Maps list.

• #42842: Fixed an issue where child items in repository tables were partially cut off in both RTL and LTR layouts. All items now display fully on the Content Elements and Translations pages.

• #42341: Improved the table behaviour after deactivating the “Configure Variables” slider so Artwork names return to the correct size and view switching behaves more smoothly.

• #41752: Corrected an issue where mandatory restrictions were not enforced when editing Content Elements, ensuring Content Type is properly locked when required.
• #40754: Fixed a problem where the latest version of a Content Element or Translation was missing from filtered results, so it now appears correctly both as the parent item and as an individual version.
• #41205: Resolved a loading issue on the Translations page to ensure smooth scrolling and proper data loading.

Projects

• #42404: Updated the hint text for the Asset Number filter to make it clearer and more intuitive.
• #42382: Improved filter behaviour so results update automatically as the user types, without needing to press Enter.
• #42638: Improved validation styling for Name field.

Open artworks from Content Management (#42247)

We have streamlined the workflow for editing existing artworks. Users can now open Artworks directly from Content Management without navigating extra steps. This update makes editing faster, safer, and more intuitive.

Filtering by “Created” date on Repository pages (#39424)

The Master Document Repository now supports filtering by the “Created” date, making it easier to locate items in large hierarchical structures. Filter results automatically include relevant parent elements to preserve navigation context, and the feature works seamlessly across infinite scrolling. This enhancement allows users to quickly isolate the right items without losing awareness of where they sit within the overall hierarchy.

• #42187: Project naming rules in Content Management are now fully enforced, preventing unsupported characters and ensuring project lists display correctly.
• #39027: Drag-and-drop behaviour has been rebuilt for smoother interactions, accurate previews, and proper validation — such as blocking attempts to move an item into itself or one of its child elements.

These fixes improve reliability across key workflows.
